Best of MMXI-Baltimore 48 Hour Film Project
2011 Baltimore 48 Hour Film Project Charles Theatre Batimore, MD
The Best of Baltimore 48 Hour Film Project screens Tuesday, July 19 at the Charles Theater at 9 PM!
We will be hand selecting a baker's dozen of the best Baltimore 48 Hour films of 2011. Horror, Comedy, and Silent Film are only a few of the genres you'll see!!
There something to delight, shock, and amaze film fans of all ages!
This year, 50 teams of local filmmakers made a movie between June 10-12. The drew a genre from a hat and were then supplied required elements that had to be in every film.
Character: Wayne or Wands Hooper, collector Prop: A Hula Hoop Line: "That's not how I would have handled it"
Tickets are $8 and available until sold out.
The 48 Hour Film Project's mission is to advance filmmaking and promote filmmakers. Through its festival/competition, the Project encourages filmmakers and would-be filmmakers to get out there and make movies....emphasizing creativity and teamwork skills.
While the time limit places an unusual restriction on the filmmakers, it is also liberating by putting an emphasis on "doing" instead of "talking."
