Y Don't U Like Me?
The Playground Theater and GRAFITTI Productions are thrilled to host the premiere of Patrick Rowland's one-person sketch show "Y Don't U Like Me?," Fridays at 10pm, July 8 through 29.
Nobody is liked by everyone -- not just the obnoxious gym rats and stripper reality show contestants of the world, but even a person simply trying out a dating service for the first time...or President Obama. "Y Don't U Like Me?," the one-man sketch show written and performed by Patrick Rowland, explores the different reasons -- the who, what, where, when, why, and how -- anyone can be not liked. You might even leave knowing why someone doesn't like you.
Patrick Rowland is an actor and improviser who has trained at iO, Second City, and the Annoyance. He has performed two sketch revues for Second City's Outreach & Diversity program and served as an understudy for Second City's main stage production "Spoiler Alert: Everybody Dies." Patrick can be seen performing at iO with his Harold team Den Mother and at Chemically Imbalanced Comedy where he is an artistic associate with the house team A Dozen Red Roses. Patrick also performs with his independent improv teams Barry Menilow, Podoski, and Me and Bri.
Tickets are just $10 and our theater is BYOB for guests 21 and over.
