New York City Gay Men's Chorus Sea Tea 2011
Set sail with the NYCGMC for Sea Tea 2011 (and our shipmates the guys and gals from the Gay Officers Action League - Yes! Hot Gay Cops!!!). The guys from the chorus are looking forward to another great evening sail in New York Harbor Sunday July 31st. For several years now NYCGMC has been aboard the Queen of Hearts setting sail from Pier 40 in the West Village for a two and a half hour cruise in and around the world famous harbor.
Your ticket to Sea Tea includes a free buffet dinner, the hottest DJ - Phillip Kimball - spinning great music, entertainment from the fabulous Harmonica Sunbeam, a full service bar, and fantastic views of the world's most famous city from a unique vantage point.
The tea dance has long been a popular event in gay culture. The concept is derived from the history of popular culture originating in the French colony of Morocco, and has been adapted in gay circles for many years. A "tea dance", generally speaking, is an afternoon social event for those longing to enjoy the revelry of nightlife a little earlier in the day. The Sea Tea brings that concept to a whole new level in one of the best of settings. Come join us!
