MegLouise Dance Concert
MegLouise Dance presents a diverse program on Saturday, July 16th at 7:30pm to celebrate their six year residence in Cleveland, OH. The Concert will be held at the Breen Center for the Arts on 2008 West 30th St. in Cleveland, OH 44113. The event is open to the public and suitable for families. General admission tickets can only be purchased IN ADVANCE.
The company will perform excerpts from their signature production, I Learned Not to Kneel, showcasing feminine passions and power. They will perform To Live is So Startling, an audience favorite and Dumbo Dance Festival award winner and Soft Animal from the 2010 DanceWorks performance at Cleveland Public Theatre. They have also revived two selections from Nearly Nude: Deconstructing Beauty, presented at CPT and in the Cincinnati Fringe Festival.
The diverse evening features veteran performers Jessica Hodges, Shannon Sefcik, Emily Thompson, Rhian Virostko and director Megan Pitcher. They are joined by new comers Elizabeth Capps, Laura Fry, Sara Himmelman and Miranda Villard. MegLouise Dance will also showcase performances by students and trainees in dances created especially for this production.
