America's Brightest Star, a new comedy, explores the small and overlooked town of South Farmingham. Town librarian Sherry has a gift, a golden voice, and she quickly becomes an internet sensation thanks to her discovery on the talent/reality TV show America's Brightest Star. Sherry tries to overcome her shy nature and the overwhelming crush of potential fame and the pressures her townspeople put on her as they struggle to revive their destitute town.
