Late Autumn Stargazing Over Pepperwood
The planet Jupiter lords over the evening sky - can you see its moons or its Great Red Spot? From the Hume Observatory at Pepperwood, you might be able to! Starting with a preview of the night at the Dwight Center, Bing Quock and Ron Dammann will guide you in an exploration of the night sky over Pepperwood, including the still-visible wonders of the summer sky, the band of the Milky Way, the Great Hercules Cluster, the Great Square of Pegasus, and the Andromeda Galaxy. In case of cloudy weather, observatory session will be replaced by activities in the Dwight Center.
