Eddie Collins Jamming Workshop
Make your jamming experiences more enjoyable through this hands-on workshop presented by Hal Leonard and Mel Bay author Eddie Collins. Topics will include: understanding the role of each instrument; establishing rhythmic grooves and good timing; overcoming the "I played it perfectly at home!" syndrome; making smooth transitions from soloing to rhythm; beginning and ending songs as a group. You will get instructional handouts and lots of tips for increasing speed and improving tone. All acoustic instruments are welcome and you can bring recording devices. The workshop is appropriate for all levels.
