Microvation
Get motivated hardly at all! Unlike self-help gurus, microvational speaker Bill Bernat shows you how crazy everybody else is. Breathe huge, happy sighs of relief that you're not alone as the rest of the audience relates to the same infuriating workplace behaviors that drive you nuts. Meet the Job Stress Superheros, get cube etiquette tips from Darth Vader, find out why Maslow was wrong, and shorten meetings by 68.4% with the Validate Me handsign (pictured). Developed with consulting psychologist Bonny Shapin, Ph.D., the show had several sold-out runs in Seattle and was featured in the Seattle Times.

Bill Bernat has been writing and performing standup comedy, plays and one-man shows for decades and has appeared on Comedy Central (Short Attention Span Theater, a long long time ago). A corporate citizen since 1986, he contracted at NASA Ames as a geek and IT manager for seven years, worked in IT for banks and investment banks, and had a successful IPO as an engineering manager in the San Francisco dot-com boom. The emotionally exhausting dot-com experience sparked Bill's intense curiosity about human behavior in the workplace, and spurred a career change toward the creative. Bill subsequently served as a technical editor for a magazine, and currently works as a web publisher.
