Hitler's Li'l Abomination
Her father is a Jewish Holocaust survivor. Her mother was in the Hitler Youth. What the devil is she...?! A tale of strife and reconciliation-not necessarily in that order. Spanning three cultures and four generations, this solo performance features the Russian Front, Holocaust bedtime stories, and cross-cultural Bridge at the Senior Center. A unique, edgy, humorous, yet ultimately deeply compassionate and painfully human perspective on war and ethnic conflict. You are cordially invited to tea and swastikas...

"This is a very funny, sharply written show. Your sense of irony will be doing back flips." -David Ford, The Marsh Theater

Annette Roman has studied performance most recently at The Marsh Theater, The Berkeley Repertory Theater, and Bay Area Theater Sports. She performed at the Boulder Fringe Festival 2011, as well as locally at The Marsh and Tell it on Tuesday. She is the author of the graphic novel 1 World Manga: Passages, a comic book focusing on various issues facing the developing world, including HIV/AIDS, child soldiers, and girls' education. She has a B.A. in writing from Cornell University and an M.A. in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. In high school, wearing mouse ears and a tail, she performed the role of the narrator in Kafka's play Josephine the Mouse Singer.
