Birdcloud
Birdcloud is Makenzie and Jasmin from East Nashville and Cottontown, respectively. Birdcloud met in Murfreesboro and immediately didn't like eachother. At a party in 2009 they had some whiskeys and became friends and started dicking around on guitar, writing their first song, a song about going down on your best friend, now lost to the sands of time. Despite a lukewarm reception at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, they have been sitting on eachother's faces ever since, showing eachother their bruises and generally doing whatever they want when it works out that way.
Mountain Sprout
Mountain Sprout is a highly energetic hillbilly music machine, spitting original tunes and blowing minds with whitty lyrics and face melting musicianship. The Sprouts are a full-time working band and play shows all year round for anyone who will listen. Whether it be Grayson Klauber playing his machine gun banjo, singing out the novel of our lives or guitarists Adam Waggs and Ratliffe Dean Thiebaud, who yank up the melody up by the ear and keep you kickin'. With a smile on his face, Daniel Redmond pulls out cannon fire notes pounding the stand-up dog house bass, and Mike Schembre gives the crowd a spectacular show, burnin' rosin and bendin' air, exploding the fiddle while bursting into flames. Together, they are MOUNTAIN SPROUT.
Blain from Nashville Pussy
There are few bands that embody the phrase "sex, drugs & rock 'n' roll" as well as the Grammy Nominated American hard rock act Nashville Pussy. Blaine Cartwright is the Bon Scott of his generation with his 'nursery rhymes for prisoners' style of lyrics. Wife Ruyter Suys is the Angus Young of women. Together they create 100 proof No holds barred, no apology rock n roll. This shit ain't for pussies
