Past Curfew: A Festival of One Acts
To open this season, YATC will mount the third annual Past Curfew: A Festival of One-Acts from June 30th to July 3rd. After the success of last years' sold-out festivals, YATC is delighted to continue the tradition with another round of diverse plays collaborated on by many young artists. This summer's cycle will showcase many YATC veterans as well as exciting new participants. Starting off Past Curfew is "Beautiful American Soldier" by Dano Madden, directed by Summer Hofford, a searing story of two sisters living in war-torn Iraq. Directing the second play, "The Winged Man" by Jose Rivera, will be former YATC actor Maddie Davis (Polaroid Stories, Past Curfew '10). The final play will be "Einstein + the Angels" by Laura Harrington, a post-apocalyptic tale of two teenagers and their struggle to survive in an incredibly hostile world, directed by Artistic Associate Eli Higham (Polaroid Stories).
YATC is happy to continue its partnership with Teen Tix to offer five dollar tickets to teens participating in the Teen Tix program.
