Studio Campfire Stories, an original concert series where songs from Zo!'s ManMade and Carmen Rodgers' Stargazer albums come alive in an intimate setting via colorful stories behind all of the music played as told by the artists themselves.
MultiInstrumentalist/Producer Zo! is Detroitarea born and raised, Lorenzo Ferguson. Influenced by a wide range of music genres introduced to him at an early age, Zo! utilizes multiple layers of thick instrumentation to shape his compositions, as demonstrated on his most recent solo albums, SunStorm and ManMade. While touring his own solo material, Zo! can also be seen on stage as the keyboardist and live band musical director for GRAMMYnominated duo, The Foreign Exchange. Based in Silver Spring, MD, Zo! just recently wrapped music work for the Adult Swim animated series, Black Dynamite. Zo! is also currently scoring an upcoming documentary on the history of soul music entitled, Undeniable, as well as working on two brand new projects. Carmen Rodgers, Singer/ Songwriter has completed her highlyanticipated third studio album "Stargazer" and is ready to take the world by storm. With two previous projects under her belt, this versatile Soul/ R&B/ Urban Alternative album was written & produced by Carmen Rodgers along with other collaborators & producers including Grammy Award Winners S1 & Caleb (Beyonce, Kanye West, Keyshia Cole, Lecrae), Daniel Jones (Justin Timberlake, Joe, Chrisette Michelle) and Carmen's consistent production partner since her first projects "Free" and "The Bitter Suite," Ernie G. (Lalah Hathaway, Dwele). Stargazer also features a guest appearance from Grammy Award Nominee Anthony David. Carmen began her early career touring and singing background for N'Dambi, and has hosted and shared the stage with notable artists including Bilal, Kindred the Family Soul, Ledsi, and Erykah Badu. Most recently, Carmen has been touring and recording with the wildly popular and dynamic band The Foreign Exchange, continuing to build her following and brand. The single and fanfavorite "It's Me" from Carmen's 2nd album 'The Bitter Suite" is still in rotation on VH1 Soul and won Music Video of the Year from Bronze Lense Film Festival. Carmen Rodgers has previously served as Music Supervisor for several independent films and her music has appeared in multiple movies and soundtracks. Carmen is a Dallas, TX native but currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
