12 Angry Men
PLYMOUTH COMMUNITY THEATRE presents;

Twelve Angry Men

Adapted by Sherman L.Sergel
Based on the Emmy award-winning television movie
by Reginald Rose

Directed by Jess Wilson

A 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father.
"He doesn't stand a chance," mutters the guard as the twelve jurors are taken into the bleak jury room. It looks like an open-and-shut case ... until one of the jurors begins opening the others' eyes to the facts. "This is a remarkable thing about democracy," says the foreign-born juror, "that we are notified by mail to come down to this place and decide on the guilt or innocence of a person; of a man or woman we have not known before. We have nothing to gain or lose by our verdict. We should not make it a personal thing." But personal it is, with each juror revealing his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder is re-enacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes! Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become Twelve Angry Men. The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it will keep you on the edge of your seat!

A veteran South Shore actor/singer, Frank is returning to PCT after last year's highly successful turn as Boris Kolenkhov in You Can't Take It With You. He has performed with Open Door Theatre, Priscilla Beach Theatre, Curtain Call Theatre and Company Theatre, to name a few. Last year, Frank appeared as Ladislav Sipos (She Loves Me) at MMAS Black Box Theatre and Victor Celasco (Barefoot in the Park) at Curtain Call Theatre. Favorite roles include Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd), Martin Dysart (Equus), Edward Rutledge (117), El Gallo and Hucklebee (The Fantasticks), Daddy Warbucks (Annie), and Clarence (It's a Wonderful Life). A soloist/cantor at area churches, he assumes his alter ego, Ballpark Frank, with the Brockton Rox during the summer. Frank's very favorite roles are husband to his patient, supportive wife Katie and father to his lovely, talented daughter Hayley.

Hollis Christian
Juror #2

Hollis is excited to be cast for the first time in a Plymouth Community Theatre production. Hollis has been active in community theatre in MA and NH, both on stage and in production, and was involved in class and competitive productions throughout high school in Texas. Hollis thanks twin sister Holly Cipriani, her husband and son, Tim and Spencer, for their support in bringing this dream to fruition. Hollis dedicates this performance to a brother-in-arms, Curtain Call Theatre's Juror #8, David Edge, whom Hollis attempted to channel during auditions!

Robert Generau
Juror #3

Bobby is grateful for the opportunity make his Plymouth Community Center debut working with this collection of incredibly talented actors and under the direction (once again!) of Jess Wilson. He got his start at Buzzards Play Productions in Wareham in The Rocky Horror Show, The Foreigner, and Cabaret. He spent the past two summers with the troupe, Shakespeare on Vacation, bringing free outdoor Shakespeare to the village of Onset. He also performed at Theater One in Middleboro, playing Charlie Fox in David Mamet's Speed the Plow. Bobby is a teacher, coach, and the drama advisor at Upper Cape Tech in Bourne. Rumor has it that Bobby is madly in love with the stage manager of Twelve Angry Men, who happens to be his beautiful wife, Melissa.

Bill Driscoll
Juror #4

Bill began his acting career in 2009 with the Plymouth Community Theater (PCT) production of Money, Power, Murder Since then he has appeared in numerous PCT productions; radio productions of A Christmas Carol on WUMD & WATD; The Man Who Came to Dinner & The Matchmaker with The Bay Players; The Night Nurse & Signs of Life with The Theater at Hollywood and Vine; and An Evening with Cole Porter with Nemasket River Productions. In addition, Bill served as the voice in radio ads for Sen. Therese Murray's re-election campaigns in 2010 & 2012 and appeared in the short film, Don't Let Go, released in 2014. In real life, Bill works as a financial planner for his firm, Driscoll Financial in Plymouth.

Jesse Romano
Juror #5

A self-confessed actor, Jesse has been at large since 2006 or so. Despite this, the whole 'stage acting' thing still feels new and exciting, which means we'll probably have to deal with him for a while yet. He's been involved in various shows throughout the Cape, and seems to be spreading farther and farther afield with each new production. This year, he's performed as Lysander in the Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as Sid and The Young Actor in Provincetown's Waiting For Lefty. He feels like there was something else, but can't for the life of him remember it. This is the first outbreak of Jesse at the Spire, but hopefully not the last! If you're reading this, and have any reason to think he might like to thank you for your support lo these many years, you're probably right. So thank you.

Ted Lillys returned to Community Theater after a long hiatus to get educated, get married, have kids and work to pay for them.  Prior to his current relapse in the performing arts, Ted had roles in musicals (Tony-The Boy Friend; Harry-My Fair Lady; Young Ben-Follies; Ali Hakim-Oklahoma!), plays (Young Andrea-Galileo; Rodolfo-A View from the Bridge; Jacob Marley-A Christmas Carol), managed a couple of stages, pointed some spot lights, queued some sounds and built a few sets.  Recent roles include George Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Shelly "The Machine" Levene in Glengarry Glen Ross, Banjo in The Man Who Came to Dinner, George the Gardener in Drinking Habits, and a G-man in You Can't Take it With You.
