Winemaking never stands still and Zinfandel Experience is evolving as well. What hasn't changed is ZAP's commitment to spreading the word about America's grape- Zinfandel. Experience the classic character of Zinfandel at five extraordinary events featuring a diverse selection of wines and styles. The weekend includes a 25 Year Tribute Party, Supper Club, Flights Seminar, Winemakers Auction & Dinner, and Grand Tasting. 2016 Zinfandel Experience is featuring more access to winemaker celebrities, more wineries, and two impressive new venues, showcasing the talents of winemakers, chefs, and artisanal food purveyors.

The Bently Reserve - 301 Battery Street, San Francisco
The Banking Hall at the Bently Reserve represents the pinnacle of West Coast panache and is home to our new opening night showcase. Join us for ZAP's 25 Year Tribute Party with a tasting featuring 60 winemakers, including ZAP's founders, pouring cult collections, rare bottlings and vineyard designates. It's a toast to legacy, inspiration and Zinfandel!
The festivities continue with a sumptuous supper for Heritage Club members. Celebrate the allure, quality and unique personality that Zinfandel brings to the world as you and your fellow Heritage Club members gather together to reunite and reminisce, making new friends along the way, and sharing the joy that only Zinfandel can bring to the occasion.

Aimed at the true wine aficionado with a keen curiosity, this seated seminar-style tasting provides a detailed understanding of the uniqueness of Zinfandel with themed flights and interaction with the experts. ZAP is partnering with the prestigious Historic Vineyard Society to present wines from amazing old Zinfandel vineyards.

Dress up in your party best for this glamorous reception and dinner. Returning to the decked out Banking Hall at the Bently Reserve, you'll experience an intimate evening with celebrities of the wine world. Our reception will feature winemakers "pouring it big" with magnums and reserve offerings. You'll experience an intimate dinner hosted by the winemakers features a customized farm-to-table menu crafted with meticulous care. The live and silent auctions will features one-of-a-kind lots, rare bottles, winery experiences and so much more, with proceeds benefitting ZAP's programming, education and Heritage Projects.

Meet the makers- legends and upcoming rock stars from 150 wineries. It's the most comprehensive showing of Zinfandels and blends in the world. All-day passes offer access to limited production wines you won't taste anywhere else. Sample bites from select restaurants, socialize with friends and connect. Explore all dimensions of this authentically American varietal. It's exhibitionism at its best! With a spacious open floor plan and panoramic views of the bay, we will bring wineries under one sleek modern rooftop at Pier 27, located on the Embarcadero.
The Heritage Club Lounge on Saturday at the Grand Tasting is offered exclusively as a Heritage Club member benefit. The Lounge will be open from noon to 5 PM. Featuring served tastings of highly-allocated Zinfandels, you will relax and take in the view, while enjoying nibbles and treats, as you talk with winemakers who will be scheduled to drop by throughout the day. Included in Ultimate VIP Package.
