Celebrate the 6th annual "Liveaboard Boater Day" by touring the floating residences of Gangplank Marina, the east coast's largest "liveaboard" community, located in the heart of Washington on the Southwest DC waterfront. For just $11, visit 23 of the floating homes (and offices!) that represent this diverse and vibrant liveaboard community. Houseboats, cruisers, tugs, family living, green living, small-space living, luxury living, and more... whatever you're interested in, chances are you'll find something to "float your boat."
Want to get out on the water right away? We've partnered with DC Harbor Cruises to offer you an optional Potomac cruise. See the boat-home tour AND cruise the Potomac for 60 minutes for just $25 (cruise alone is regularly priced at $30).
Net Proceeds from the tour will go to support the Alice Ferguson Foundation's work with Potomac River stewardship, and Southwest DC's own Earth Conservation Corps' urban youth development and environmental service projects.
