Build-A-Brickbuster Pixelfest

There are literally tens of thousands of videos featuring LEGO elements, from stop-motion to documentaries, a good many of which have become viral sensations. Ones and Zeros Pixelshow held an international contest to find the best of the best. This weekend, they will be screening the winners of the Build-A-Brickbuster contest, as well as some of the greatest brick flicks of all time.

2 p.m. BEST OF THE BRICKS: a survey of the seminal works from the genre, including "Camelot" included on the Monty Python: Holy Grail DVD, the educational film "Drugs are Like That" and some of the first LEGO films made.

Plus, MEET THE MAKERS OF LEGO UNIVERSE directly following the show (free) Attending;

7 p.m. BUILD-A-BRICKBUSTER AWARDS: A screening of the finalists and winners of prizes provided by LEGO Group.Plus, winners of the Joanna Town LEGO City Epilepsy Fundraiser.

1-4 p.m. ASIFA Build-A-Brick Flick Workshop (free) Learn to make your own LEGO movie to enter in next year's contest.

5 p.m. TINSEL TOYS: Films made from toys, including pieces made during the ASIFA animation workshop 1-4 p.m.Also, Barbie movies, and featuring Gio Toninelo, organizer of the GI Joe Festival.
