Healthy Foods Local Farms Conference
This annual conference is sponsored by the Sierra Club along with a myriad of other sponsors.  It takes place usually in the Louisville Kentucky Area.  This is a 1 day conference 9 - 5:30 pm  The cost of the Conference is $45.00.  Scholarships are available. An associated event is a Harvest Party -  the evening preceding the conference.  The Harvest Party is a Slow Food Event featuring local ethically sustainably raised/grown foods cooked by local Chefs.

The Keynote Speaker for the 2011 conference is Colin Beavan - Author of  the best selling book "No Impact Man".  

This conference is for people and organizations who care about where their food comes from....and that their daily repast is ethically and sustainably raised/grown and harvested.
