June 24 "Una Planta y Seis Cuerdas"
Yaelisa's Flamenco School presents its annual showcase recital of new choreographies, danced by all levels of her students. A unique opportunity to share the excitement, passion and process of bringing flamenco to the stage, as dancers of all levels join with members of Caminos Flamencos to create an unforgettable evening. Also featured are the wonderful artists Jesus Montoya, el Genio Gitano, from Sevilla, Jason McGuire "el Rubio," extraordinary guitarist, and dancers Fanny Ara with artistic director Yaelisa. These performances are directed by Emmy Award-winning choreographer and dancer Yaelisa, who was born into flamenco and has performed with and choreographed for many fine artists including Alejandro Granados, Antonio "El Pipa," Manuel and Antonio Malena, Domingo Ortega, Enrique "El Extremeno," Yeye de Cádiz, Mateo Soleá, El Junco, Juan Ogalla, Maria Jose Franco, Savion Glover, Andres Peña, Encarna Anillo, Luis Moneo and others. She is also the Artistic Director of the New World Flamenco Festival at the Irvine Barclay Theater.
Wine, roses and great flamenco make an unforgettable experience of Spain close to home. Paella and Spanish tapas will be prepared and served fresh! COME HUNGRY! These performances frequently sell out, so make your reservations early! NOTE: Cash-only bar and tapas (purchased separately).

General seating is available unless a table reservation is requested via the Caminos Flamencos office at (510) 531-9986. Tickets $18 in advance and $22 at the door.
