Soul Kitchen

Something of an Albuquerque super group, SOUL KITCHEN features vocalist extraordinaire, Hillary Smith, winner of Alb the Magazine's 2007, 2008, 2009 "Best Vocalist" and whose latest CD, NO EASY WAY walked away with five 2009 NM Music Awards, including "Best of the Year".

Guitar hero, Chris Dracup, also named "Best Musician" by Alb the Magazine and winner of Local IQ's, "Best Solo Act" is the driving force behind Albuquerque's SOUL KITCHEN.

Bassist, Marcus Casman and drummer, Mark Clark, both accomplished players and recording artists round out the New Mexico based band, voted Albuquerque's "Best Blues Group", 2010.

Soul Kitchen creates a dynamic blues-drenched sound that musically wanders somewhere between Saturday night revelry and Sunday morning redemption.

In their first appearance at the Exchange in February 2011, Soul Kitchen rocked a sold out crowd with their blues and boogie. We're looking for more of the same this time around.
