Welcome to the Third workshop in Brown Paper Tickets' Nonprofit Series.
Event promotion is one of the biggest challenges in making your fund raising event a success. At this workshop, you'll learn three simple ways to get people to come to your fund raising event. This workshop is lead by Brown Paper Tickets Vice President Kelsye Nelson and the members of our expert Event Promotions team whom have helped hundreds of event producers get the crowds they dreamed of at their events.

10:00 - Food, coffee, networking
10:30 - Woo the press: How to determine your audience and target the right media to reach them.
11:15 - Break
11:30 - Say it loud and say it often: How to use social media tools such as Twitter and Facebook to drive traffic to your event.
11:50 - Beat the pavement: Old school marketing tactics that really work.
12:10 - Get going! The event promotions team will help you one-on-one with your specific challenges and goals. We can help you brainstorm strategies, write social media posts or draft a press release.
Who may attend: Anyone who needs to know more about fund raising through events. The workshop will specifically focus on the needs and goals of nonprofits, but all are welcome.
