"Written for the exceptional choral ensemble Tenebrae, this is an hour-long a cappella exploration of the phenomenon of the Camino de Santiago the ancient Catholic pilgrimage route across northern Spain to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. The text comprises excerpts from historical and sacred documents in several different languages, alongside original material by poet Robert Dickinson."

We are pleased to welcome Doug Bouey for a pre-concert chat at 2:15pm and invite you to join us for that. As well, after the concert, we are hosting a reception in the parish hall adjacent to the Cathedral for wine, light snacks, and company. Given the special performance of Responsio on May 7, which the last concert in our season and includes only four singers (Katie Partridge, Patricia Thompson, Timothy Shantz, and Oliver Munar, with Jeff Reilly on bass clarinet), this will be the last chance to meet with the choir during the 2015-16 season.
