Dana Carvey. Sinbad. Doug Stanhope. Paul Ogata? Yes, Paul Ogata has joined the exclusive club of comedians who have won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition.

Paul's material flows from his Japanese-American upbringing and his recent marital foibles. Paul funnels all of his material through an animated and quick delivery to give the audience a non-stop roller coaster ride through his stream of consciousness. A master of improvisation, Paul likes to make each show different from the rest.

Paul's victory in San Francisco propelled him to a series of television appearances including Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham", the globally syndicated "Comics Unleashed" and his performance in Showtime's groundbreaking program "Pacific Rim Comedy". On the big screen, Paul co-starred in the underground hit motion picture, "Porndogs" with adult-movie legends Ron Jeremy, Tera Patrick and the late Marilyn Chambers. Paul has also appeared in Damon Wayans' film "Behind the Smile", on CBS' "The Late Late Show" as well as on TBS, NBC and PBS.
