Roots of Creation Bolstered by a sense of its own colorful history and urged onward by the promise of a fruitful future, Roots of Creation has evolved into a musical force of nature. With a hard-working ethic and an arsenal of upbeat, substantial songs, RoC has ascended to the top of their profession by putting their fans first and doing business with focus and respect. www.rootsofcreation.com
Congo Sanchez Congo's time as the drummer for Thievery Corporation has clearly had an effect on his ear as he continues to explore the down-tempo, reggae mezcla, with an obvious hip-hop overtone to the composition. Listeners of 'Dealin With This' will hear an array of sounds and rhythms, paying homage to the roots of music with thick layers of percussion; signature to the Congo Sanchez sound. All of this accompanied by a conscious message and an authentic lyrical approach creates a superb listening experience. https://www.facebook.com/CongoSanchez/info?tab=page_info

The Youngest Sun Since 2007 The Youngest Sun has worked to fine tune an energetic music that both explores and integrates many different genres. The band not only focuses on musical composition, but live improvisation as well. In 2009, the band recorded its first self titled album. In January of 2012 their second album entitled Talisman's Treehouse, was recorded. Now with with Welcome to Florida and Todd Biggins band frontman Duncan Pelletier added to the mix, their sound is more soulful than ever! www.theyoungestsun.com
Hug the Dog Hug the Dog is a 4-piece rock band that echoes classic sounds of the past with a current style. They blend indie rock dance rhythms with a melodic soulful sound that provokes both the mind and body. Powerful lyrics meshed with upbeat anthems promise a lively and meaningful concert experience. Their forte comes from their unique ability to create contagious tracks that also have true depth. hugthedog.com
Modern Fools Through their harnessed sound of cupboards left ransacked and warm beer on the table, Modern Fools delivers an original blend of indie-rock on the rocks, blues, country-fried soul and a sincere work ethic. With harmony-driven earnest howls and deliberate swells, they capture the egresses of love and tiresome gambles on the American frontier. Formed from the soils of the Northeast, Modern Fools have tapped their circuits to hot-wire their sound with members of New Hampshire's most challenging acts (Ghost Dinner, Youngest Sun, Ol' Factory, & Run Gazelle Run). The quintet is slated to release their Self-Titled EP this Spring, with a full-length LP to follow in the year. http://www.modernfoolsmusic.com/
Tara Greenblatt band Luscious harmonies, decadent strings, groovy hand drumming, & poignant lyrics. http://www.drumtara.com/
Shea Vaccaro Deep woods gospel and rock and roll. Shea's velvety voice could put the wildest of beasts at ease. http://sheavaccaro.bandcamp.com/
This year's benefactor announcement!!!!
Cancer has affected us all, whether personally, through family members, friends or acquaintances. This year has been especially difficult for us, as the Uplift family has lost several loved ones. In honor of everyone that has fought or is currently fighting, we have decided to team up with Monadnock Community Hospital and its oncology department to help those in need during their courageous battle against cancer. No one should fight alone! MCH is currently expanding their oncology and infusion center to better serve the patients and families battling cancer in the Monadnock region. Although we all wish there wasn't such a high demand for this expansion, that is unfortunately not the case and our local nonprofit hospital is doing what is necessary to better serve those fighting the hardest fight of their lives. 100% of the proceeds from this year's Uplift Music Festival will go straight to Monadnock Community Hospital's financial assistance program to be used by cancer patients undergoing treatment. Even with insurance, copays and deductibles can be exorbitant. Cancer treatment is often lengthy and costly and patients should be focused on their recovery, not their finances. http://upliftmusicfest.org/
