Slavyanka Performs Rachmaninov's All-Night Vigil ("Vespers") - Berkeley
Rachmaninov's sublime and timeless composition is one of the true jewels of the choral repertoire. Written in just 28 days in 1915, it represents the culminating high point of Russia's golden age of sacred music, and a moving expression of Russia's 1000 year-old spiritual tradition.
