The Boxcar Lilies are Jenny Goodspeed, Stephanie Marshall, and Katie Clarke - three singer-songwriters that met and discovered a shared passion for three-part harmony. Come hear for yourself at Simple Gifts Coffee House!
The Boxcar Lilies have quickly made a name for themselves with their signature mix of folk, country, and bluegrass-tinged Americana music featuring spine-tingling, innovative harmonies and top-notch songwriting. Accompanying themselves on guitar, clawhammer banjo, concert ukulele, bass, and washboard, they have brought their uniquely warm sound and energetic stage presence to venues up and down the Eastern seaboard, including The Iron Horse Music Hall, Club Passim, and Philadelphia's Tin Angel.
Their singing voices, like their writing voices are distinct and exceptional, but combine to make a delicious whole - a sound that is sometimes gritty, sometimes delicate, but always warm and welcoming.

Patrons attending Simple Gifts Coffee House performances can now bring their own beer or wine to enjoy at the concerts. Beverages are allowed in the dining room and auditorium only. As always, there will be coffee, tea, and a variety of baked goods available during the intermission.
Simple Gifts Coffee House has been hosting regional and nationally known musical acts for over 20 years, and are long time members of the Boston Area Coffee House Association (BACHA).
