Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist
June 20 - July 26 "Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist, and Works on Paper by the Artist and his Circle". Featuring more than 100 works on paper, the exhibition includes 40 drawings, prints and pastels by Degas; also included are works on paper by artists in his circle, including Mary Cassatt, Paul Cezanne, Jean-Auguste Ingres and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. All the compelling works in the exhibition are from the private collection of Robert Flynn Johnson, Curator Emeritus of the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, collected over 40 years.
Regular price $10. Seniors, Students, Veterans $9. PAC members and children 12 and under, no charge.
Petaluma Arts Center is open daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm except Tuesdays, Wednesdays and holidays. The center will be open Saturdays until 8:00pm throughout the Degas exhibition.
