ADC Summer Workshop 2011 NYC
ADC's Summer Workshop is designed for contemporary dancers who are passionate about expanding their artistry, technique, partnering, and improvisation skills. You will experience Alana Marie Urda's approach to developing choreography with the opportunity to perform in the culminating showcase. This 3-Day Workshop filled with a range of classes and pro teachers is geared toward pre-professional, professional, and adult dancers of all ages with previous training. Registration = Affordability.
We are thrilled to announce Takehiro Ueyama of TAKE DANCE will be teaching in our workshop this year! As well as ADC's Artistic Director, Alana Marie Urda, Associate Artistic Director, Aubrey A. Strickland, and Apprentice, Sarah Foster!

Friday, August 5: 3-9:30pm
3:30-5pm ADC Technique with Alana 5-6:30pm Contemporary Ballet with Sarah BREAK BREAK 7:30-8:30pm Repertory with Alana Session 1 8:30-9:30pm Opening Day Jam Session with Live Music
Saturday, August 6: 12-3pm and 6:30-9:30pm
12-2pm Guest Teacher: Repertory with Takehiro Ueyama of TAKE DANCE! 2-3pm Improvisation with Aubrey BREAK BREAK 6:30-9:30pm Repertory with Alana Session 2
Sunday, August 7: 1-7pm
1-2:30pm Modern Fusion with Aubrey 2:30-3:30pm Partnering with Alana 3:30-4:30pm Repertory with Alana Session 3 5:30-6:30pm Culminating Showcase
*Repertory with Alana will be performed in the Culminating Showcase. Must attend all 3 sessions.
*WORKSHOP RATES:
Full Workshop (7 classes, 3 Repertory Sessions, Showcase performer): $135 Workshop classes, No Repertory Sessions (7 classes + attend performance): $105 Single classes: $18
Partial SCHOLARSHIPS available: must apply!
