'Open Spaces: Voices from the Northwest'
Everyone who has experienced the Northwest recognizes its unique naturebut not everyone can express it with the eloquence of the voices featured in the journal Open Spaces. A quarterly published for nine years in Seattle and Portland, Open Spaces charted our human place on the continuum between the extraordinary beautyand powerof our natural environment, and the communities we've set upon it. With humor and grace, from the intersection of science and policy to the dichotomy of living beneath the vista of Mount Rainier but dealing with urban growth, contributors such as Bill Ruckelshaus, Eric Redman and others will read from writings that provide insight into the 'innermost secrets' of life in the Pacific Northwest. Presented by Town Hall, with Elliott Bay Book Company.
