Music for the Imagination featuring Peter and the Wolf
Thrill to the music of John William's "Star Wars" and enjoy Humperdinck's Hansel & Gretel's Overture & exciting Witches Ride. Bring your vivid imaginations into focus as you listen to a long time favorite -- Prokofiev's Peter & the Wolf. Special guests include the Everett Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the winner of the Snohomish County Music Teachers' Concerto competition. To conclude this afternoon, you will be treated to a rousing rendition of STARS AND STRIPES conducted by the winner of our 2011 Spring Fling Gala contest. Come and explore the wonder of symphonic music in a program designed for "kids from 3 to 93"! Kids will also have an opportunity to meet the instruments up close after the performance!
