Green Remodeling: Making your home beautiful, healthy and energy efficient.
Dreaming of home improvements this year? Attendees will learn how to design, plan and prioritize projects with health, comfort, and energy efficiency in mind. Topics include:

using the sun for daylighting, heating and electricity
choosing non-toxic, durable, renewable and recycled materials
designing your landscape for energy efficiency and food production

incentives and loans for energy efficient improvements
Bio: Kelly Lerner is co-author of Natural Remodeling for the Not-So-Green House and owner of One World Design Architecture. Natural Home Magazine named her one of the top 10 eco-architects in the United States. She designs healthy, beautiful, energy efficient homes throughout the northwest and has recently returned from six months studying architecture in Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Germany and Spain.
