Swedish Midsummer Cooking Demonstration: Learn How to Smoke Fish in Your Home
Looking for the perfect midsummer meal for entertaining? Wanting to learn a new cooking technique? Join NYWCA Member Fanny Farkas for an evening of culinary demonstrations, food and wine.
Hot smoked fish is a very common dish in Sweden, especially in the summer. Fanny will demonstrate how to make hot smoked salmon and discuss some midsummer customs and traditional foods.
Dinner of traditional Swedish midsummer food will be served, along with smoked chocolate sauce over ice cream. Wines courtesy of Domaine Serene (Oregon) will also be served.
This event is open to members and non-members and is limited to 12 people.
