SFCD Student Showcase July 8/9
SFCD Student Showcase: Sessions 1 & 2
-- part of a series of summer dance performances presented by the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance --
70 talented young dancers, ages 15-23, selected by audition from around the U.S. to attend the summer intensive program of the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, will perform a selection of original works. The program will include a piece created by Alessio Silvestrin, a long-time collaborator of William Forsythe, and works by Christian Burns, Alex Ketley, and Malinda LaVelle.
(Note: 70 different dancers will perform an entirely different program on August 5 and 6 that will include works by Ohad Naharin.)
