TNM presents Oceans Eat Cities
Take a deep dive into a rich offering of new music with teen virtuoso ensemble Face the Music as they join Tribeca monster violinist Mary Rowell (ETHEL founding member) in Oceans Eat Cities. Mary and FTM will tag-team a variety of new and recent works by composers Sam Friedman, Katherine Hoover, Paris Lavidis, Missy Mazzoli, Terry Riley, Daniel Bernard Roumain, and Caroline Shaw.
A highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of Oceans Eat Cities by composer Neil Rolnick. Written for FTM's Quartet: This Side Up, Oceans Eat Cities is a stunning new work about global warming with live video by Luke DuBois.
