The Blueridge Chamber Music Festival opens its sixth season with Written in the Stars, featuring the Hayley-Laufer Duo in two monumental song cycles. Succumb to the lyrical embrace of Schumann's effusive and evocative Liederkreis and Crumb's mystical, mesmerizing Apparition.
2. Circular Reasoning Friday, July 24th in Vancouver Saturday, July 25th in North Vancouver
Blueridge presents the music of the spheres in this concert of chamber music blockbusters including Schubert's limpid Arpeggione Sonata, Duruflé's tumultuous Prélude, Récitatif et Variations, and Schumann's impassioned Piano Quartet. And don't miss the BC premiere of π, the stunning new piece by Blueridge Composer in Residence Jordan Nobles. 3.
