Melick, Moody & McKrell
For three decades Saratoga's own Kevin McKrell has travelled the world with his bands Donnybrook Fair, The Fabulous Newports, Hard Times, and, of course, The McKrells. Known for his rousing, charming live performances, Kevin is a pioneer of the high-energy musical genre described as "Celtic Cowboy." His songs are performed by Kingston Trio, Woods Tea Company, and Seamus Kennedy, among many others. This all-star trio features Kevin on guitar, bodhran and vocals; Doug Moody on fiddle, vocals and mandolin; and the brilliantly creative percussionist Brian Melick on anything that can thump or chime.
