This award-winning film documents confrontations in a West Bank village in 2003 and 2004 during the construction of Israel's antiterror security fence. In Budrus, where the fence divides the town from its cemetery and threatens the
residents' olive groves, Palestinians, Israelis and nternational pro-Palestinian activists form an alliance
for a grass-roots non-violent protest. The film neither romanticizes nor demonizes the many viewpoints expressed. Instead it captures the power of ordinary people peacefully
working for extraordinary change.
