Boston2Ireland Trad Youth Fundraiser
This is a BIG DEAL.
In May 2015, a group of young Irish traditional musicians from the greater Boston area competed in and won FIRST PLACE in Under 15 at the regional Fleadh in Parsippany, NJ. This means they can represent Boston to compete against a handful of the best bands in the world at the All-Ireland Fleadh in Sligo, Ireland!
Comedian, Jimmy Tingle, local band,Free Shipping and Irish singer/songwriter, aMO, will lend their talents for an entertaining night of humor and music, to help raise funds so this great group of young musicians can travel to Ireland and compete at the Fleadh.
We are hoping to raise enough money to purchase airfare for each student as well as two teachers. Without your help, it won't be possible for the whole band to attend!
