Summer Three Day Fleet Inquiry Institute 2015
This three day institute runs 9am to 3pm daily from Tuesday, July 14 to Thursday, July 16. Using hands-on experiences and reflection, the summer Fleet Inquiry Institute will give teachers a foundation in science inquiry. Participants will examine different approaches to hands-on learning, explore process skills and NGSS practices, engage in a full scientific inquiry, and consider ways to include inquiry in their own classrooms. This workshop is based upon the Fundamentals of Inquiry professional development program developed by the Exploratorium, and incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards.
This is a FREE three day program which requires registering to reserve your spot- space is limited!
Preference will be given to groups of teachers applying from the same school site.
The Fleet Inquiry Institute is the teacher professional development branch of the Education Department at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center.
