10 MIN PLAYS THE SKELETON WOMAN -- An Inuit Folktale, adapted for the stage by Clara Gabrielle Houser. A tale told by the collaboration of Visual Artistry, Mask Work, Live Music, with a character expressed entirely in shadows, and an Ensemble of villagers using Viewpoints, and physical acting. :: "This is a story about love. It's romantic. It's a fairytale. But its not the romantic fairytale you might be used to, or have come to expect . . . "
LEADING THE BLIND -- Written by Caleb Strul; Directed by Graham Beckel and Jeff Cohen. "It's 'Waiting for Godot' on Peyote." In this Beckett-esque world, a boy helps an old blind man across a deserted terrain. As they ponder a few truths, a more insidious reality comes to light. ENIGMATIC DANCE
Amphibian-- Directed by Jameelah Nuriddin; Creators: Amani Starnes, Angelina Prendergast, Jameelah Nuriddin. A Movement piece combining the disciplines of Suzuki, Viewpoints, and Butoh to ethereal melodies--exploring birth and life. ELECTRO -- Choreographer Angelina Prendergast studied ballet at The Royal Academy before returning to the states to create a more innovative form of dance-- a fusion of trained styles and disciplines. Electro explores the concepts of modern slavery, set against the backdrop of a sexy and dangerous world of burlesque. This stunning amalgamation leaves viewers with something more than a paradox. "In Closing", Written and Directed by Evan McNary; vividly tells the story of a being broken up with by multiple women. The minimal, unflinching style allows the each actor to explore the complexities of her character and reveal the difficulties of a relationship that has run its course. Filmed at the Cooperative's artistic home February 2011, In Closing utilizes many of the unique locations in the building and features cooperative members.
