Join us for an evening bike tour of 5 urban farms in Atlanta, coupled with special refreshments along the way (serving up both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages). Registration will take place at the Atlanta Good Shepard Church - starting the tour at the Good Shepard Agro-Ecology Center - and from there, the peloton will venture on to Patchwork City Farms, Adair Park Urban Farm, Atlanta Harvest, ending at Freewheel Farm. We'll conclude the evening with celebration and hot dogs - vegetarian option available - from Doggy Dogg at Freewheel.
Tour is 8 miles total. All riders are required to wear helmets and have bike lights.
Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, will be provided by: Cherokee Moon Mixology Nature's Garden juices Cara Sheffield King of Pops (boozy and regular pops)
Saturday July 11th Registration runs from 5:15 to 5:45pm, ride starts at 6pm Starts at the Atlanta Good Shepard Church, 445 Lawton St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
Transportation: Riders are welcome to leave their cars in the Good Shepard Church parking lot during the ride, but are responsible for picking them up that evening. Since we'll have plenty of delicious libations, we'd like to encourage folks to use a car service or carpool with a sober driver.
We'll provide a support shuttle with water to follow the tour, but all participants are responsible for their own transportation after the tour ends at Freewheel Farm. The final stop is only 3 miles from the starting point.
Ticket Price is $40 and includes all drinks along the way, and hot dogs from Doggy Dogg.
