The Art of Revision and the Writer's Toolbox.

Author/Journalist Lynn Waddell will discuss with the class the often dreaded, but necessary task of manuscript revision. This class is applicable to fiction and non-fiction. The author of Fringe Florida will share techniques from her toolbox and others. Participants are encouraged to bring pen and paper for writing exercises.

About the Instructor:
Lynn Waddell is an author, fiction writer, and seasoned journalist. Her narrative non-fiction book Fringe Florida: Travels Among Mud Boggers, Furries, Ufologists, Nudists, and Other Lovers of Unconventional Lifestyles, (published by University Press of Florida) won a national IndieFab award in 2014. Her prize-winning journalism has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, the Miami Herald, the Las Vegas Sun, and numerous other publications.
