The Ceilidh (Scottish name for Party)
The Ceilidh is a not so new event that we're adding to the Capital District Scottish Games this year. The reason it's not so new is that we've had this party since the first games we presented in 1978, but only competitors and the Games Committee volunteers were invited. It's been so much fun, that we have decided to open it up to the public. it features Celtic entertainment (The American Rogues & Get Up Jack), dancing, socializing, and lots of kilted lads & Lassies having a good time. If you have a full day ticket, be sure to stick around after the Games on Saturday and join us for the party. If you can't make it to the Games during the day on Saturday, you can purchase a ticket just for The Ceilidh. Both options are available on this Brown Paper Tickets event page.
