Family Show: THE RELUCTANT DRAGON by Kenneth Grahame
PERFECT FAMILY SHOW! This charming new adaptation of the Kenneth Grahame classic story tells of a young boy who discovers an erudite, poetry-loving dragon living in the Downs above home. The two become unlikely friends, but soon afterwards the dragon is discovered by the local townsfolk, who send for St. George to slay the dragon. A perfect tale for story lovers of all ages - 5 to 95!!
Special ticket price $10/each at Wednesday, July 15, at 11:30 AM show only. All other performances at 7:30 PM on July 3, July 11 and July 23. Tickets can be purchased in advance and/or at showtime at Deertrees' Box Office.
Doors open at 7:00 PM for General Seating but the theatre grounds and building are open in advance. Picnic facilities are available in the pine grove and the property is handi-capped accessible. The Salt Lick Cafe serves homemade desserts and snibbles plus hot and cold drinks, beer, wine, and more.
