George Winston in concert in Louisiana
We have just been informed that George Winston will not be able to appear due to health reasons. The concert will still be held. We are tentatively planning to bring in internationally acclaimed pianist, Richard Dowling to perform.
A major reason for holding this concert is to honor the memory of Dan Hill, a local pianist who unexpectedly passed away last summer. Richard has graciously agreed to perform so that we can host this concert in Dan's memory.
The concert will also benefit our local Guitars in the Classroom program, a non-profit organization that teaches classroom teachers to play guitar and gives them the resources and confidence to bring music into their schools. Please bring an item of non-perishable food to the concert to benefit Manna House. Collection bins will be located at the venue.

All concert goers who purchased tickets prior to August 8th (the date we announced George would not be performing) will receive a free George Winston CD at the concert.
