Merge2011 A Creative Collaboration
Merge is our new event in support of our IIDA Student Design Awards!!! This event is replacing our IIDA Golf Tournament.
We will be assembling teams to create wearable fashions that will walk down the runway to a cheering crowd. Each team will be supported by various mfr. reps: wallcovering, textiles, paint, plastic laminate, carpet, etc! A limited number of tickets will be sold to the 'creation' portion in the afternoon & our EVENING attendees will buy tickets to witness the creative collaboration of our design community! Food, drinks, PAPARAZZI, music, PRESS... This is ONE event you will NOT WANT TO MISS!!!
To be on a team, you do not need to buy tickets. Email sacramentocc@iida-nc.org to volunteer! We are looking for designers, architects, graphic designers, IIDA Students and other creative individuals who want to use their creativity!
All Day tickets grant a LIMITED number of audience members entrance to the 'design' portion from 4 - 6 PM. If you have a friend or colleague on a team and you want to help them "WIN" additional supplies to be used during the challenge... BUY an "all day" ticket! Snacks & drinks provided as well.
