Day at the Casa
The San Leandro Historical Society annual fundraiser celebrates early Spanish rancho and town history. The beautiful grounds of the Casa Peralta are the setting for an alfresco luncheon and entertainment, including Mexican folk dance by Grupo Folklorico Tlapalli. A silent auction and raffle raises money for restoration of the Casa Peralta fountain and tile. Kids can play 19th century games and make Mexican tin punch art.
