Marga & The Tomboys: Queer Comedy
America's most wanted Latina Lesbian, Marga Gomez, returns to NQAF for her fifth year as co- headliner and procurer of fast rising queer comedy talent. "Marga & The Tomboys" stars Marga Gomez (triple winner - SF Bay Guardian Best of The Bay Comedian) and Janine Brito, known for her screamingly funny mind and schoolboy wardrobe (2010 Rooftop Comedy Award Winner.) The East Bay Express raves that Janine is the "first lesbian comic to really win over a young and extremely jaded hipster audience."
Special guests Karinda Dobbins (Five Funny Females Tour) and Morgan (former New Jersey iron worker turned truth telling transgendered funnywoman) round out the night of rowdy laughs. Demonstrating NQAF's 2011 theme of "A Sustainable Queer Planet," "Marga & The Tomboys" forge their own tools for Queer survival with humor, making Earth the queerest planet in the universe, one joke at a time.
