The Temple of Transition Reno Party
Burning Man is one of the largest arts and culture festivals in the world drawing over 50,000 visitors to the Nevada's Black Rock Desert each year. The Temple project, one of the event's largest and most interactive art pieces, has been awarded to the International Arts Megacrew who will be constructing this year's The Temple of Transition in Reno, Nevada. This will be the first time, in the history of The Temple, for it to be built in Reno.
As you might be aware, constructing and installing a large-scale art installation requires a significant financial investment. The International Arts Megacrew is planning a series of fund raising events to provide financial support for this much beloved project. The Reno fund raising event will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Hobson Square, Home of The Salvagery Collective, here in Reno, Nevada.
We intend to have entertainment, music, dancing, food and beverage, and fire. There will be a Silent Auction and Raffle Table. The Salvagery Arts Collective are celebrating their one year anniversary of rePiano by holding an art auction in the Hobson Gallery, in conjunction with Artown. Osiris will have their Pyramid up and have selected DJ's from all over the country to perform.
Proudly featuring: Controlled Burn, Bohemian Burlesque, Boho Hoops, Bonestar, Big Dale's Giant Big Head, Dragonfly Aerialists, Spoken Views, DustyCouture.com, The Jungle Buggy and Jungle Bus, Nefarious Grin's Fire Garden, The Pier, The Popcorn Palace, The Red Rooster, and more.
All funds raised will go directly to support the Temple of Transition project. Thank you for your support. Come celebrate with us!
