Spritzers for Spring
Fermented beverages are a great way to boost your digestive health and are a great way to add creativity to your palette In this class learn to make home-fermented non-alcoholic (or very low-alcoholic) beverages for the warming spring months. These beverages are naturally carbonated and help feed the friendly bacteria in your gut. We will be using kefir grains and ginger âbugsâ to make traditional sodas like root beer, ginger beer, shrub, and fruit soda. We will also discuss vinegar fermentation like elderflower "champagne", and have several beverages to sample. Every participant will take home water kefir grains and a bottle of ginger or root beer.
