Hometown: Seattle, WA Resides: Brooklyn, NY
Jeffrey Williams was born into a family of 12 siblings -- seven boys and five girls -- in Seattle, Washington. At a young age, Jeffrey's dream of becoming a fashion designer was supported by his loving mother, who was his biggest fan. In 2004, shortly before being accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, his mother passed of breast cancer, but she continues to be a huge inspiration. While at F.I.T., Jeffrey studied abroad at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy, and developed a love for the culture and working internationally. He also participated in the prestigious Art Specialization Program, which led him to his professional career as in fashion illustration. Jeffrey graduated from F.I.T in 2009 with a Bachelors in International Fashion Design and a focus on Sportswear, Knit Wear, and Fashion Illustration. Jeffrey has worked with Alexander Wang, Peter Som, and international stylist Patti Wilson. Currently, he is working as a fashion illustrator, a fashion consultant, and a stylist, all while developing his next collection. Presently residing in New York, his design aesthetic is influenced by magical life moments, indigenous communities, the power of his dreams and his loved ones. Jeffrey believes that "there's no such thing as what's in or what's out. It's all about confidence and truth. If you feel divine keep it on, if not, take it the heck off!"
[ROXY COTTONTAIL] Roxy Cottontail is the kind of girl books are written about. She came to New York with dreams, drive and a tube of lip-gloss ready to work her little Cottontail off and make people come together, dance and have a good time. From Baltimore to Philadelphia, she has been around the musical block picking up friends, acts and experience along the way. In Philly, she helped establish Diplo and Low Budget, of the legendary Hollertronix party. She jump-started Spankrock's rap career and also booked one of Chromeo's first New York shows. Her skills, talent and varied tastes have helped her rise to the top of the promoting, DJing and musical worlds. Her signature style is part of everything she touches and it has deep roots in punk, electro, house, hip-hop, reggae and rock. Her weekly Monday nights at Sway have been a staple in NYC nightlife for new music, DJs & artists from all over the world for the last 6 years. She hosted dates on the Rock the Bells summer tour in 2008, the same year she was featured on the cover of URB magazine. In 2009 Pepsi added Roxy as the first female DJ in the Pepsi DJ Collective. Her other corporate clients include: Ray Ban, Calvin Klein, Starwood Hotels, Boost Mobile, Harrah's Hotel & Casino and Skull Candy. She has DJed & performed all over the world in places like Hong Kong, Stockholm, Barcelona, Dominican Republic, Iceland and Tokyo. In January 2010 her single "Double Dare" was featured on MTV's show "My Life as Liz" and she had a cameo on the HBO series "How to Make it in America." Roxy has been featured in countless publications including i-D, The New Yorker, world wide issues of Time Out, WAD, Status, Mixmag, Warp and BPM. This year Spin Magazine featured Roxy in their Top 25 Must-Hear Artists at the Bamboozle music festival along side bands like Weezer and Paramore. She has DJed with some of the biggest names including the late DJ AM, Steve Aoki, Iggy Pop, Afrojack, Afrika Bambaataa, Stretch Armstrong, Ni** Sky, Fake Blood and A-trak. She has produced and hosted parties with live performances by LMFAO, M.I.A., Spankrock, Slick Rick, Devin the Dude and many, many more. Her collaborations also carry into the studio where she has created songs with Armand van Helden, Drop the Lime, Party Squad and legendary Electroclash icon, Larry Tee. DJs, and parties, and recording! Oh my!
